Vestland Invest AS (VI) is the holding company for the Langaker family.
The Group constitutes a diverse portfolio of investments in mainly technology driven companies. As a main rule, VI seeks investments in privately held companies, and takes an active role through participating on the Board of Directors.
VI was incorporated in 2000. Its management offers more than 20 years of international experience in the field of technology investments as well as numerous advisory roles within Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital markets.
VI has since inception founded/co-founded 8 technology companies in the field of payment and telecom infrastructure, as well as oil-related technologies. Furthermore the Company has invested in a selected group of early ventures (seed-capital), and has helped develop these into a more mature stage.
The Group has never set a portfolio company in liquidation, and takes pride in a “hands on” approach. The core focus is to build strong and experienced management teams and seek early concept/commercial validation from key industry players in the relevant sector.
VI has over the years co-operated with government funded as well as other private investment groups Investment horizon has historically been 5 years or more. Investments have been divested both through industrial sales, as well as through listings on Stock Exchanges.
Historic performance has been good, with an average annual ROI of well over 50% since inception.
VI seeks to hold between 10 - 33% of outstanding shares in its portfolio companies, and will at any given point in time hold between 8 and 12 companies in its portfolio.
